My Own Leaptop is a pretend laptop for kids who can't get enough of technology. With its rugged construction and fun versions of many of the things grown-ups do on their laptops (including e-mail, music and blogs), My Own Leaptop is an educational and fun introduction to the world of computers.
Three function buttons
E-mail: Connect the Leaptop to your computer and create custom e-mails, which your child can receive and read on the Leaptop.
Music player: Choose and download a playlist of songs to download, which your child can play on the Leaptop. Scout dances along on screen.
Scout's Blog: Hear Scout and Violet read their latest blog entries, personalised to include your child's name.

Keyboard
Use the keyboard to interact with the Leaptop and play games, and increase familiarity with letters and computing basics.

My Alphabet Pictures: Introduces letters and phonics. Press a button letter to hear its sound, and see an animal starting with each letter.
Music Exploration: Use the keyboard to play notes, beats and silly sound effects.
Animalpedia: Push a letter to hear and see a clue about an animal, then push the paw button to find out if you were right.
Connect and share achievements
Connect My Own Leaptop to LeapFrog Learning Path to see specific play and learning information based on your child's use of the toy, including areas where they are making progress or need more support. Email updates provide tailored learning tips, and you can share your child's progress and achievements with friends and family on Facebook.
